I'm a freelance illustrator / comic artist (Penciler, Inker, Colorist, Pinup/Cover Artist). I typically work for clients on small projects and commissions, but I've also edited and published a couple of anthologies for the indie comics group Thee100's, creators of the original "100 Days of Making Comics" challenge.
Prior to that, I worked as a Stop Motion Animator, Production Designer, Art Director, Set Decorator, Stage Hand, Character Designer, 3D Modeler, 3D Animator, Game Tester, Copy Editor, and a bunch of variations in different creative industries (mostly games, film/tv, and comics). But the two things I come back to most are comics and games.
I've always had a passion for games and game development. I made a few small games as a kid, a Ti-83 Calculator game that earned me a few days of detention in Highschool, and loads of mods for Sims, Sims2, Unreal Tournament, Age of Empires 3, Call of Duty MWF, Fallout 3, Sim City Societies, and probably a bunch I'm forgetting.
I went to college for game art and design back in 2003, but education for that field was terrible back then and I didn't learn much of anything that actually helped me, so I went in all kinds of different directions instead.
However, so much has changed since then! And I'm very excited to pick up where I left off and fill in the gaps of my knowledge to make some fun indie games. I'm just doing it for myself, but I still want to do my best to learn to make the most kickass games I can.
